Erneut zog es uns zurück nach Südafrika. Ein Land in dem stets die Sonne scheint, die Menschen freundlich sind und ich meine Sorgen vergessen kann.

Dieses Jahr begleitete mich meine Tochter Stephanie und ihre Freundin Maria. Beide waren nun das erste mal in Südafrika. Startpunkt war wie schon so oft Kapstadt. Hier gibt es genug zu erkunden. So besuchten wir die V&A Waterfront, das Kap der guten Hoffnung, die Bo-kap Siedlung und bestiegen den Tafelberg. Unsere Unterkunft lag in Sommerset West wo wir uns im „Sommerset Hill Guesthouse“ sehr wohl fühlten.

Über Hermanus ging es dann zum Cape Agulhas, dem südlichsten Punkt Afrikas. Die restlichen Wochen verbrachten wir in Wilderness, an der Garden Route. Wieder wohnten wir im „Haus am Strand“. Von hier aus hat man viele Möglichkeiten die Gegend zu erkunden. So waren wir in Knysna reiten, erlebten ein Höhlen-Adventure in Outshoorn, eine Kayak Tour in Tsitsikama und vieles mehr.

Once again we moved to South Africa. A country where the sun is always shining, people are friendly and I can forget my worries.

This year my daughter Stephanie and her friend Maria accompanied me. Both were the first time in South Africa. Starting point was, as so often Cape Town. There is enough to explore here. So we visited the V & A Waterfront, the Cape of Good Hope, the Bo-kap settlement and boarded Table Mountain. Our accommodation was in Sommerset West where we felt very comfortable in the "Sommerset Hill Guesthouse".

About Hermanus we went to Cape Agulhas, the southernmost point of Africa. The remaining weeks we spent in Wilderness, on the Garden Route. Again we lived in the "house on the beach". From here you have many opportunities to explore the area. So we went horseback riding in Knysna, went on a cave adventure in Outshoorn, a kayak tour in Tsitsikama and much more.
